The opportunity
Due to continued growth, RSGx have a great opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Burswood, Perth, where you'll work closely and collaboratively with the procurement team to implement and support the business's purchasing processes and controls. In addition to,
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring strong vendor relationships and cost-effective agreements.
- Oversee timely procurement of materials, services, and equipment, aligning with project delivery timelines.
- Establish purchasing policies, performance metrics, and ensure compliance with all procurement standards.
- Collaborate with construction, planning, and cost control teams to synchronise procurement activities with project milestones.
- Maintain an up-to-date Procurement Register and provide real-time reporting to track progress.
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
About You
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of procurement systems and processes.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to develop and execute cost-saving strategies and process improvements.
- Experience in construction procurement will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of relevant procurement software and tools is an advantage.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential.
