How you'll make an impact

The MarTech Platform Manager is a hands-on technical specialist and leader responsible for the day-to-day operation and oversight of the AMP's core marketing technology platforms, specifically Adobe Experience Platform and Marketing Analytics. The role is pivotal in enabling data-driven marketing by ensuring seamless integration across platforms to support campaign execution through scalable and efficient data solutions. A core function is to oversee platform ops, working closely with stakeholders to deliver lifecycle marketing data requirements. You will play a critical role in driving platform strategy and own platform configuration and optimisation, working together with other teams including Marketing Business and Data Platforms team members.

You are accountable for the delivery of clear platform RACIs so that issues and changes are managed effectively, ensuring a seamless transition from data build to activation. You will champion best practice platform management, ensuring processes are followed, standards upheld, and business requirements consistently met. You will manage relationships with MarTech vendors and service providers, ensuring delivery against SLAs and value realisation. Your role is a key enabler of AMP's broader marketing and customer experience strategy, ensuring that technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes.

Focus Areas

  • Help define the strategic vision, roadmap, and data lifecycle management for the Adobe Experience and Marketing Analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with broader marketing OKRs.
  • Evaluate and implement data solutions to enhance platform capabilities and marketing ROI.
  • Manage the daily platform operations across the Adobe Experience Platform and Marketing Analytics (MAP). Own and maintain a clear RACI model for platform responsibilities.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements, automation, and optimisation by identifying opportunities for improved performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with Adobe Experience and Marketing Analytics data engineers to design scalable, event-driven data solutions, leveraging the core capabilities the platforms have to offer.
  • Partner with data governance teams to maintain data quality, governance and compliance.
  • Lead change management, issue resolution, and release coordination.
  • Ensure platforms are configured to support marketing BU objectives.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Martech, Digital, and Data Science teams to align on data architecture, lineage, consent management, and platform interoperability.
  • Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and support onboarding of new data sources.
  • Act as a key contact for all internal and external stakeholders from a platform operations perspective.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in platform management, product ownership, or relevant technical leadership roles, ideally within digital experience or cloud environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Data, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications in Adobe, data management, or project management preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and experience with enterprise digital platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform or comparable).
  • Hands-on experience with data ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, edge), identity stitching, and profile unification.
  • Hands on knowledge and competence with XDM schema design and managing datasets for scalable data solutions.
  • Hands on knowledge and competence understanding of data architecture, APIs, and integration frameworks.
