Where you'll be working
Based at Tamworth Medical Imaging, you'll be supported by a dedicated Imaging team of 23 Radiographers and a wide range of multidisciplinary staff. Together, we deliver high-quality, patient-centred medical imaging services to the people of Tamworth and the surrounding region.
Tamworth is the central hub of the New England North West, with a population of just under 60,000. About the role
In this role, you'll:
- Provide comprehensive Medical Imaging services across multiple modalities
- Work as part of a 7-day rotating roster (including on-call)
Occasionally travel to satellite sites to support imaging services - About you
You're a motivated professional with excellent communication skills and a strong patient care focus. You'll thrive in a busy, dynamic environment and bring a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams. The ability to work independently and liaise effectively with other departments is essential.

Requirements:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
- Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
Additional Information:
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
