Warehouse on-floor Supervisor

Braeside, Victoria, Australia Workfast Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Workfast is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse on-floor Supervisor  to manage a team of 6-10 at a busy operation based in Braeside, VIC. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for overseeing daily dispatch functions and ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Temp to perm opportunity (ongoing work)
  • $36hr + penalties + super
  • $44.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sound knowledge of Carton Cloud WMS would be highly regarded
  • Ability to set up new client including rates cards, products as well as creating POs and SOs.
  • Answering phones for incoming operations enquiries.
  • Liaising with management, supplies and customers with respect to warehouse operations and yard movements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders regarding container deliveries and pickups.
  • Sound working knowledge of all warehousing/storage duties.
  • Ensuring day-to-day operations are running effectively and efficiently.
  • Detailing and coordinating activities of other store workers and admin support staff
  • Ensuring all KPI's are met
  • Receive, check, and put away incoming goods.
  • Unload and load trucks/containers safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with dispatching customer orders.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lift and other equipment (if licensed).
  • General labouring/warehouse duties as required.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Maintaining and ensuring the safe use of any equipment as required.
  • Maintain and continue to hold appropriate and valid licences as required.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse areas including the yard.
  • Other tasks as required.
