A bit about the role:

We are seeking a Head of Quality to shape and deliver our Quality Strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while embedding a strong quality culture across the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a critical leadership role where you will align quality outcomes with our commercial and strategic objectives, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Some of the key areas you'll look after are:

  • Develop and deliver a Quality Strategy that drives performance against key metrics and compliance requirements.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring visibility of priorities, progress, and action plans.
  • Lead QMS development, audits, root cause analysis, and certification compliance (TGA, FSANZ).
  • Drive continuous improvement and best-practice processes, including HACCP/HARPC frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key customers and regulators.
  • Develop and deliver a Quality Strategy aligned with business and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a high-performing Quality Team through effective leadership and professional development.

This role is perfect for someone who has:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering (essential).
  • Proven leadership experience (5–10 years) in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of TGA and FSANZ standards (critical).
  • Qualified Lead Auditor certification (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead QMS frameworks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent people leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
