Youth Disability Support Workers – Port Macquarie NSW

Short-Term Accommodation (STA) | 12–31 November | 24/7 Roster | Immediate Start

Australian Safe Care is seeking experienced and passionate Youth Disability Support Workers for a Short-Term Accommodation (STA) placement supporting two young participants in Port Macquarie, NSW.

This is a rewarding opportunity for skilled support workers who are confident working 24/7 shifts within a small team environment and are committed to providing consistent, compassionate, and professional care.

About the Role:

You will work as part of a supportive team delivering around-the-clock care and supervision, focusing on safety, engagement, and meaningful support for the two young participants.

Shift Details:

  • Dates: 12th–31st November 2025
  • Roster: 24/7 coverage – day, evening, and active overnight shifts available
  • Location: Port Macquarie, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people
  • Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and routines
  • Support social and recreational activities
  • Maintain a safe and positive environment
  • Complete daily documentation and shift reports

Requirements:

  • Experience in Individual Support, Youth Work, Disability or Community Services
  • Experience supporting young people with disabilities or complex needs
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Must be available for the full STA period (12–31 November)
