Deputy Principal – Student Engagement

We invite visionary educational leaders to apply for the role of Deputy Principal – Student Engagement, a key leadership position that shapes the spiritual, personal, and academic lives of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute strategically and pastorally within a vibrant school community founded on Catholic values.

About the Role

As a key member of the College Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal – Student Engagement plays a pivotal role in promoting a culture of care, inclusion, and student empowerment. Reporting to the Principal, you will lead student engagement, behaviour, wellbeing, leadership development, and child safety across the College. Your work will directly support the realisation of our School Improvement Plan and MACS' Vision for Engagement.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and mentoring the Student Engagement Team and the Child Safety Team
  • Overseeing student wellbeing initiatives and behaviour management frameworks
  • Guiding the implementation of pastoral care and student leadership programs
  • Ensuring compliance and cultural alignment with Child Safe Standards
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, and community agencies
  • Facilitating staff professional learning on student engagement, child safety, and wellbeing
