**About the opportunity**
The Finance Officer is responsible for the management and oversight of the accounts payable function within the agency. The role coordinates the day-to-day processing operations of a small team ensuring the integrity of the transactions in the financial reporting system. The Finance Officer is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will:

- Have demonstrated experience in leading and managing a small Finance team
- Have high attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Require excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
- Have experience using financial systems (SAP preferred but not essential).
