Summary:

We currently have opportunities for a Speech Pathologists at Neta Care holistic health services. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across various age groups. You will develop personalised therapy plans, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and provide support to clients and their families. Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders through comprehensive assessments and diagnostic tools.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients to improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities, utilising evidence-based techniques
  • Educate clients and their families about disorders, treatment options, and strategies to support progress at home.
  • Track and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to coordinate care and support clients' overall well-being.
  • Provide immediate intervention for clients experiencing severe or urgent issues related to communication or swallowing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Masers degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with SPA
  • Current Paid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Paid Blue Card
  • Current First aid and CPR
  • Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
