About the role

Lazar Transport Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced MR & C Class Truck Delivery drivers & Offsiders to join our team based in Prestons, NSW. This full-time role is vital in supporting our warehousing, storage and distribution operations, delivering and assembling furniture goods to customers in a safe and timely manner.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate MR & C Class trucks to deliver goods and assemble to customers across the local and regional areas
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and delivered in perfect condition
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and road rules to ensure safe driving practices
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance as required
  • Work collaboratively with the wider logistics team to optimise delivery schedules

What we're looking for

  • Valid MR and C class driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • At least 1 years' experience in a similar delivery driver role
  • Knowledge of local road networks and ability to plan efficient delivery routes
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Physical fitness to load/unload trucks (Require Heavy lifting) and perform manual handling tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as required
  • Furniture & White goods experience is a bonus.
