About the role

ROADMASTER REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT is seeking experienced HC (Heavy Combination) Drivers to join our team in Tamworth, New South Wales. As an HC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of refrigerated goods across regional NSW. This is a full-time position based in our Tamworth depot, with the opportunity for regular driving routes and a consistent work schedule.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operating refrigerated semi-trailers to transport goods across regional NSW
  2. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
  3. Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
  4. Maintaining accurate logbooks and trip documentation
  5. Providing exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and in excellent condition
  6. Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required

What we're looking for

  1. Valid HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience driving refrigerated semi-trailers or B-doubles
  3. Knowledge of regional NSW road networks and transport regulations
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  5. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
  6. Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
