About Us

We are a family owned and operated business based in Tamworth NSW who values reliability, safety and teamwork. We have been operating for over 15 years and are currently expanding and looking for motivated drivers who are willing to help us grow and share our values. We pride ourselves on having well maintained modern vehicles and providing a supportive and professional work environment.

We offer a variety of services includes water delivery to the Northwest Slopes and Plains/ New England and bulk and heavy haulage both local and long distance.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate our variety of vehicles withing company policies and legal requirements
  • Preform daily pre-start checks, electronic forms and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Communicate in a respectful manner with both customers and co-workers.

This position will require ongoing traveling away for multiple nights at a time and staying in the truck's sleeper cab.

Essential:

  • Minimum MC licence with experience in driving A-doubles and Truck and Dogs (HC will be considered if willing to upgrade)
  • Minimum 3+ years of HC licence driving experience required
  • Construction industry White card or willingness to obtain
  • Good communication skills
  • Competent in using smart phone/email/internet
  • Ability to be flexible with work hours as this position will include harvest work and ongoing grain cartage throughout northern and central NSW
  • Confident in driving in urban areas
  • Fit and healthy (manual handling, pass drug/alcohol testing)
  • Applicants must be Australian permanent residents or citizens

Desirable:

  • Mechanical knowledge and skills
  • Experience in oversize transport
  • Experience in tipper trucks carting grain/fertiliser/query products
