Factory Supervisor / Operations Manager – Formwork Industry

  • Location: Ingleburn NSW
  • Full-time

We are a dynamic and expanding manufacturer of innovative formwork products and are seeking an experienced and motivated Factory Supervisor / Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a fast-paced production environment, where quality and precision are key.

About the Role

As our Factory Supervisor / Operations manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our factory, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. You'll work closely with our design and construction teams to interpret builder's drawings, estimate materials, and ensure timely output of formwork components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible to the Managing Director.
  • Supervise factory staff and coordinate daily production activities
  • Interpret and work from builder's and construction drawings
  • Use AutoCAD to review and adjust shop drawings as needed
  • Estimate material quantities and production timelines
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with OH&S procedures
  • Some building site visits may be required to guide our customers with the correct installation of our products.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and project managers to ensure delivery requirements are achieved.

Skills & Experience

  • Solid estimating skills – experience in formwork or concrete construction preferred
  • Experience in pattern making or precast concrete may also be an advantage.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction/builders drawings
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing supervisory role
