We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Factory Employee to join our growing team in a fast-paced window fabrication environment. This role is crucial to the efficient and high-quality production of our windows. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machinery and tools used in the window fabrication process, including (but not limited to): saws, crimpers, drills, and CNC equipment (training provided).
  • Assemble window components, including frames, sashes, and glass, according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality control standards.
  • Handle and store materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Follow work instructions and production schedules.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina (able to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods).
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Experience operating machinery and hand tools.
  • Forklift certification (not required, but a plus).

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30kg.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a factory environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to use hands and arms repetitively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
