Transport Yard Person – Cavan, Adelaide Depot

Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm | $30.25 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Transport Yard Person to join our team at our Cavan Depot in Adelaide.

This full-time role involves yard operations, vehicle movement, forklift operation, and supporting wash bay activities. Overtime opportunities are available during peak periods and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move prime movers and trailers around the yard
  • Safely operate forklifts to load and unload freight
  • Assist with loading and unloading general and refrigerated freight
  • Assist with washing and cleaning of fleet vehicles
  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe yard environment
  • Support daily yard and operational tasks as required

What We're Looking For

  • Valid HC Licence (essential)
  • Valid Forklift Licence with forklift operating experience
  • Previous experience in a transport, warehouse, or yard environment
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in transport, warehouse, or yard environments is required
  • Punctual, reliable, and strong "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clean, presentable, and safety-focused
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
