Casual Bartender – Nour (ESCA Group)

Nour, part of ESCA Group, is seeking a Casual Bartender with rock-solid knowledge of classic cocktails and polished, guest-first service.

What you'll do
  • Mix, shake, stir and build all classic cocktails along with Nour's extensive cocktail list to spec (e.g. Old Fashioned, Martini, Negroni, Margarita, Daiquiri, Manhattan, Whiskey Sour), with correct glassware, dilution, ice and garnish.
  • Deliver warm, efficient bar service: greet guests, take orders, recommend drinks, and manage service tickets with pace and accuracy.
  • Maintain bar mise en place: prep juices/syrups, batch where appropriate, restock, rotate and label.
  • Uphold RSA, hygiene and safety standards; keep the bar clean, organised and photo-ready.
  • Work seamlessly with the floor team to ensure smooth service and quick recoveries when it's busy.
  • Handle POS/cash accurately; assist with end-of-shift duties and basic stock counts.
What you bring
  • Proven classic-cocktail knowledge and confident technique (shake/stir/build, jigger accuracy, balance).
  • Current NSW RSA and Australian work rights — required.
  • Previous bar experience in quality restaurants/cocktail bars.
  • Strong communication, hustle under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Spirits, liqueurs, beer and wine fundamentals; curiosity to keep learning.
