Your new role

As an APS6 Program Support Officer, you'll be part of a high-performing team that manages product registrations under a national energy efficiency framework. You'll respond to stakeholder enquiries, assess applications, and help maintain the integrity of the regulatory system.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values consistency and accuracy in their work.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to stakeholder enquiries via email, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess applications, renewals, and change requests for regulated products using a specialised ICT system.
  • Apply sound judgement to identify non-compliance risks and support transparent decision-making.
  • Maintain and update internal knowledge resources and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the team and broader organisation to support high-quality outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have:

  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information.
  • High attention to detail and sound judgement.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in regulatory, technical, or administrative environments is highly regarded.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in energy, environmental science, public administration, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
