The role

As Residence Services Manager, you'll be the primary leader and single point of accountability for residential operations. Reporting to the Senior Leadership team at Crown Sydney, you'll oversee the Residential Concierge and Doorperson teams, manage the day-to-day function of the residences, and act as the key liaison with the Strata Management company.

This role requires on-site visibility and presence, a high level of service excellence, as well as demonstrated leadership. You'll take ownership of actions, ensure prompt follow-through, and uphold community standards with empathy and professionalism.

Some of the key responsibilities will involve

  • Being the primary liaison with Strata, ensuring seamless communication and execution of actions
  • Serving as the single point of accountability for residence operations and service delivery
  • Leading, coaching, and directing the Concierge and Doorperson teams to ensure high standards of professionalism and responsiveness
  • Addressing and enforcing compliance with building by-laws or resident responsibilities firmly and respectfully
  • Overseeing operational activities including move-ins/outs, deliveries, amenity bookings, and access/security protocols
  • Attending Strata Committee meetings and promptly action any instructions
  • Monitoring shared spaces and facilities, ensuring presentation, safety, and preventative maintenance meet Crown standards
  • Work closely with the Facilities Management team to coordinate strata and private repairs, obtain quotes, arrange access etc
  • Provide timely reports, updates, and recommendations to both Crown management and Strata
  • Staying across all developments within the residence — no detail is too small to escape oversight

You'll have

  • 5+ years' experience in luxury / high-end residences, hotels, or complex building operations
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely and effectively with Strata Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to manage operations and resident behaviours
  • Proven track record of accountability — ownership of tasks from request through to completion
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving, with attention to detail in building operations
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and staffing resources
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required
