We are seeking a female support worker to provide assistance to a male participant living with schizoaffective disorder, ADHD, and PTSD.

Location: Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast

Job Type: Casual

Shift Details:

  • Date: Tuesday, 7th October
  • Time: 8:00am – 2:00pm (with potential to extend)
  • Ongoing shifts may be available

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support during community-based activities.
  • Promote safety, wellbeing, and positive engagement.
  • Offer respectful, person-centered care tailored to individual needs.
  • Build a professional and supportive relationship with the participant.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in disability or aged care
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability (or similar)
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (at least 2 doses)
  • Driver's licence and own vehicle preferred
  • Strong communication and a genuine passion for care
