OVERVIEW
We are seeking a person who can fit the below description and become part of a growing business on the Sunshine Coast. We are a happy, motivated and professional organisation with a strong reputation and are looking to add to the team – is that you? Do you stand out from the crowd? Do you have a passion for bookkeeping?
The role involves working with various clients and being very competent in high level bookkeeping tasks and client communication. It could involve travel to conduct work at client locations, so you must have a valid QLD licence and vehicle.
LOCATION: Maroochydore office in the Sunshine Coast or client office if required
HOURS PER WEEK: 38hrs per week
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
- Data entry in Xero/MYOB/QBO
- Entering invoices via Hubdoc and pushing through to Xero/QBO
- Matching bank feeds with AR invoices and AP payments
- Accounts Receivables & Payable
- Ensuring compliance with GST components of invoices
- Payroll, STP lodgement and super payments
- Reconciliation, preparation and lodgement of monthly IAS/BAS or quarterly BAS
- Use XPM, Microsoft Office 365 suite and other platforms
- Attend networking events/meetings to promote business
- Assist with document creations for HR and other admin tasks
CANDIDATE
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to multi-task and manage clients in various industries
- Highly proficient in Microsoft and other platforms
- Highly motivated and self-driven
- Passion for bookkeeping and numbers
- Bubbly, energetic and enthusiastic
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Works well in a team but can also use initiative and work autonomously
- Tech savy and willing to learn new systems that suit the role
- Ability to see the big picture whilst maintaining focus on the detail
- Thrive on change and a fast-paced environment
EXPERIENCE
- Bookkeeping/Accounting Industry experience and qualifications (or working towards)
- Will have extensive knowledge of ATO, Fair Work and other statutory bodies
- Excellent data entry ability with speed and accuracy
- Proficient with Xero, MYOB, QBO and Hubdoc
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll, STP categories and superannuation
