About the role

We're looking for an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer to join the team at iseekplant, Australia's largest online construction marketplace.

You'll work across a modern service-oriented Laravel application using the RILT stack (React, Inertia, Laravel, Tailwind). Our platform is serverless-first, running on AWS with Laravel Vapor, Lambda, and ECS Fargate, with Terraform-managed infrastructure supported by our platform engineer.

You'll contribute to building new features and improving the platform, and help us build a state of the art agentic procurement platform, shaping how construction projects source and manage equipment and services.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain features across our fullstack Laravel + React application
  • Write clean, tested code using PHPUnit and Vitest
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver user-focused solutions
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute ideas for improving the platform
  • Learn from senior engineers and share your knowledge where possible
  • Work alongside our platform engineer on AWS and serverless deployments

What we're looking for

Must have:

  • 2–5 years experience in a fullstack engineering role
  • Experience with Laravel (or another modern PHP framework)
  • Solid skills in React and TailwindCSS
  • Exposure to Test Driven Development (frontend or backend)
  • Comfortable working with APIs and modern web technologies

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to AI workflows
  • Familiarity with HTTP streaming or WebSockets
  • Experience with programmable telephony (Twilio)
  • Exposure to voice agent development (PrismPHP, LiveKit, ElevenLabs, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini)
