About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our Logistics & Inventory team based in our Pemulwuy site. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining accurate stock levels, optimising allocation of products across ANZ, and supporting the efficiency of our end-to-end supply chain operations. Working closely with the Inventory Manager, warehouse teams, and key stakeholders across the business, you will ensure inventory accuracy, lead process improvements, and provide actionable insights that drive performance and enhance customer experience.

This is a hands-on role that combines analytical rigour with strong stakeholder management, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-led retail environment.

What You'll Do

Inventory Control

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouses and retail locations.
  • Conduct regular audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure system data integrity.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.

Transfer & Allocation Management

  • Lead and streamline transfer processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform and oversee product allocations across ANZ to optimise stock flow and sales outcomes.
  • Proactively reallocate stock to meet customer demand and maximise delivered sales.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Collect and analyse inventory data to identify trends and variances.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights to support decision-making across Logistics and Finance.

Cycle Counts & Stocktakes

  • Plan and coordinate stocktakes across multiple sites, ensuring variance reconciliation and sign-off.
  • Execute targeted cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy and minimise write-offs.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify and resolve system or process issues affecting data integrity.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, operations, and finance teams to drive continuous improvement.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a culture of zero harm and ensure adherence to WHS standards across all inventory activities.

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years' experience in inventory control, supply chain, or logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in ERP or inventory management systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, D365).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in retail or wholesale environments preferred.
  • Passionate about process optimisation and delivering operational excellence.
