Who We're Looking For
• Suit someone currently studying or holding qualifications in science, environmental science/engineering or related discipline, (part time may be considered)
• Appreciation and awareness of work health and safety requirements
• Demonstrated team player, and passionate self-starter
• Approval/ authorisation to work full time in Australia
• Full driver's license issued by an Australian state or territory
• Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written skills to communicate complex issues confidentially and concisely. Proven report writing skills
• Strong project management and client engagement skills.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering quality solutions.
Your Role
• Assisting senior staff by carrying out supervised tasks requiring accuracy and adherence to prescribed methods of analysis, design or computation.
• Diligently prepare for and implement field investigations, obtain quality data and upload to system and manage laboratory analysis and results.
• Identify opportunities based on Assessment Corps core disciplines and prepare quality and competitive submissions.
• Provide specialised guidance to clients based on legislative requirements or relevant standards and industry best practices;
• Prepare accurate, high-quality reports in a timely fashion;
• Consult with clients to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions;
• Manage projects from proposal stage to delivery;
• Work collaboratively in a team and independently to deliver projects on time and on budget;
• Business development activities for new and existing accounts;
• Maintain existing client relationships to expand regional business opportunities and services
