The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Survey Draftsperson to join our team on a work-from-home basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong drafting skills who values flexibility, autonomy, and high-quality output.

You will be responsible for producing accurate survey plans and related documentation, working closely with surveyors and clients. The role is fully remote, with flexible hours, provided deadlines and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting survey plans including cadastral, engineering, and topographic surveys.
  • Interpreting survey field data and translating it into accurate drawings.
  • Using CAD software (including AutoCAD & SurvaCAD) to produce survey documentation.
  • Liaising with surveyors, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with local council and state regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining accurate project files and records.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Draftsperson in the surveying or civil industry is essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of surveying principles and terminology.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
