The Opportunity:

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and proactive Traffic Supervisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

You'll play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic management and contributing to the successful delivery of our expanding project portfolio.

Any given day may see you…

  • Oversee the daily traffic control requirements on a specific project/region.
  • Oversee, Consult and Problem Solve with Foreman, HSEQ, Leading Hands, Operators etc.
  • Conduct and oversee site pre-start meetings and toolboxes
  • Oversee subcontractors working within your designated project/region.
  • Provide training and guidance to all personnel as required
  • Conduct Site Inspections to ensure Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are met
  • Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager such as (but not limited to) mobile plant delivery & erection, sign installation/maintenance, use of hand tools etc.

Here's what we are looking for…

A person with spotting experience that is wanting to become part of an expanding, inclusive and team focussed business.

They must:

  • Hold relevant traffic control tickets: RIIWHS205D & RIIWHS302D
  • White Card – Construction Industry
  • Ideally hold a manual driver's license
  • Have two or more years' working in a Traffic Supervisor role
  • Have a sound knowledge of WHS
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects end to end
  • Sound knowledge of general construction, timeframes and procedures
  • Demonstrated safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
  • Be outcomes focused and have the ability plan and keep organised
