House of Psalm is a Melbourne-based creative organic search agency that helps brands reach their audiences and connect authentically online.
We're not focused on climbing the charts like a one-hit wonder only to fade away after that initial quick win. We're all about building a brand's legacy so it becomes trusted, memorable, and woven into the fabric of everyday life.

At House of Psalm you'll find strategists, developers, creatives working side by side, crafting search strategies that feel less like cookie-cutter organic search and more like work that genuinely builds value. It's an environment where clarity, creativity and purpose matter as much as results.
As a House of Psalm Copywriter, you'll write with purpose. You'll be crafting copy that shapes cross-channel strategies, drives digital PR campaigns, and positions brands where people are searching, whether that's Google, TikTok, or ChatGPT.

What You'll Be Doing
SEO-friendly Content Creation
Write clear, compelling copy across web pages, blogs, press releases, campaign assets and social media.
Optimise every piece for search engine optimisation best practices, keywords, metadata, headings, and more.
Develop content strategies in collaboration with our strategy team.
Research trends and search behaviours to make content that's both relevant and ranked.
Tackle health, wellness, and medical content with accuracy and clarity, ensuring all writing is evidence-based, compliant and credible.
Client Connection
Run content workshops with new clients to understand their brand, tone, community and content goals.
Seamlessly translate client feedback into content that feels true to their voice.
Build trust through a direct communication line and provide recurring client updates.
Quality & Consistency
Edit, refine, and proof every word for clarity, readability and Search Engine & user friendliness.
Maintain and evolve brand style guides.
Juggle multiple clients of different shapes and sizes with the occasional tight deadline (and nail them).
What You Bring
You value mastering your craft, providing a premium service that puts people first, communicating with clarity and conviction, fostering meaningful relationships with team, clients and their customers.
At least 4 years copywriting experience (agency experience = bonus points).
A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or similar (health/science background also highly regarded).
Experience writing for beauty, health, wellness, or medical audiences with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
A knack for writing across different voices and audiences.
Strong grasp of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) fundamentals.
Experience writing social media captions, hooks and scripts.
Experience contributing stories or articles to blogs or digital news media.
Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
Confidence in reporting and managing client relationships, reducing approval bottlenecks and keeping to deadlines.
An interest in ethically leveraging Artificial Intelligence
Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
