Senior SAP Business Analyst

About the role

Fantastic permanent opportunity for a motivated Senior SAP Business Analyst to join the SunRice Group in Sydney, Melbourne or Leeton. As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will serve as a trusted IT advisor to the business, helping to drive continuous process and digital improvement. You will support digital growth by collaborating with key business users to implement new capabilities, while ensuring a stable IT environment through timely and high-quality issue resolution. This role also offers the opportunity to act as the Lead IT resource for configuration—covering both issue resolution and new capability delivery largely within SAP PP and SAP IBP but also for IT solutions in the digital supply chain ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

Partnering

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key business users, offering guidance on recommended ways of working, particularly in the efficient use of system capabilities.
• Partner with the Group IT Business Partnering Manager to support the development of strategic IT roadmaps across the plan to produce process area.

New Capability Delivery

• Lead the implementation of key IT capability in the plan to produce area.
• Project manage and lead the projects where required with the necessary support of the Group IT Business Partnering Manager and Group IT Portfolio Manager.

Issue solution delivery:

• Provide timely and quality resolution for assigned issues.
• Managing issues end to end from identification to resolution.

About You

You bring your SAP expertise and IT solutions mindset, backed by strong communication and collaboration skills. Thriving in dynamic and agile environments, you naturally build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business. Your ability to work independently and take initiative will be key to your success.

You will also have:

• Relevant university degree and/or professional qualifications.
• 7+ years of SAP functional experience in the PP area.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG organisation.
• Detailed knowledge of integration points with SD, MM, PM, WM, FICO, and other SAP modules.
• Multiple years IBP experience.
• Proficiency in SAP PP in ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Proficiency in SAP IBP configuration.
• Working with SaaS and other IT solutions in the plan to produce space (desirable).
• Experience in managing or leading projects (desirable).
• Working knowledge of other SAP Supply Chain modules namely SD, PM, MM as well as SAP BW (desirable).
