About the role

M2 Enterprises is seeking passionate, customer-focused individuals to join our dynamic team as Front of House Event Staff to assist us through our busy wedding season. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service at our events and functions in the Wollongong area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, vibrant hospitality environment while developing your skills in the industry.

Current event dates:

Saturday 18th October, Friday 31st October, Saturday 1st November, Saturday 8th November, Saturday 15th November, Friday 21st November, Saturday 22nd November

Shift times vary but typically a food shift will be approx 2-9pm and bar shift approx 2-11pm

You must have your own transport to be able to get the various locations as they aren't accessible by public transport. Travel allowance is provided over a certain distance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Serving food and beverages to customers promptly and efficiently
  2. Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented event space
  3. Assisting with event set-up and pack-down as required
  4. Providing exceptional customer service at all times
  5. Adhering to all health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a hospitality role, preferably in an events or functions setting
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  3. Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a team
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing environments
  5. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is desirable
