We're seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead to provide technical expertise, leadership, and a results-driven mindset on a high-profile 18-month fixed-term contract based in Perth, Western Australia.
This role will include an even-time roster of 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off during the offshore phase which is expected to commence end of October – giving you balance while contributing to a world-class project.

About the Role
Reporting to the Hook-up and Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for leading the safe and effective execution of all commissioning activities offshore, whilst ensuring quality and project schedule.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead commissioning teams with a strong HSE focus.
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and resources.
- Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover to operations.
- Ensure design, engineering, and contractual documents address commissioning needs.
- Define and coordinate subcontractor, vendor, and offshore workforce scopes.
- Supervise commissioning procedures, performance tests, and operating manuals.
- Manage completion systems, handovers, and punch list closure.
- Track progress, report against plans, and resolve technical issues.
- Align onshore and offshore activities to ensure seamless execution.
- Contribute to project cost, schedule, and manpower planning.
- Prepare final reports, certificates, and documentation.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements:
- Tertiary or trade qualification; Project Management training desirable
- 12+ years' oil & gas experience with strong hook-up and commissioning background
- Proven track record on Australian and Asia-Pacific projects with strong HSE focus
- Skilled in cost, schedule control, and commissioning software/tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
