About the role:

Support workers required to support our participants with disabilities in their day to day life, whether it be community access, personal care, or even just assisting them at home with everyday household chores. Support worker with their Cert IV in Disability and Cert IV in Mental health are preferred and experience working with participants with complex needs is essential.

We are also looking for people who are willing to travel to the Ballarat area.

Attributes:

  • The demonstration of experience and willingness to work with people who have complex support needs.
  • A team player who is motivated and passionate, with the ability to be flexible and reliable
  • Someone who can assist in providing choice and control to all participants.

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability
  • NDIS Orientation Modules
  • Current Driver's License
  • Reliable Vehicle
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • National Police Check (within 2 years)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Hand Hygiene Certificate
  • Medication Administration Certificate
  • Infection Control Certificate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Base Rate: $38.05

Saturday: $53.27

Sunday: $68.49

Public Holiday: $83.71

Overnight: $130.00
