About the role
IOR is seeking a Service Technician to support fuel infrastructure across Australia. This hands-on role involves regular travel and a sharp focus on quality, reliability, and teamwork. Join a fast-moving crew and help keep our national network running strong.
- Deliver high-quality maintenance across IOR assets and facilities, ensuring equipment meets all specs and compliance standards
- Provide hands-on field support at local sites — servicing fuel tanks and resolving equipment issues with speed and precision
- Conduct regular site audits and share insights to guide planned maintenance and continuous improvement
- Lead installation, servicing, and repairs of fuel infrastructure to ensure safety, reliability, and peak performance
- Champion safety by identifying risks, reporting hazards, and upholding IOR's compliance standards across every task
What IOR are Looking For:
IOR is looking for hands-on problem solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in doing things right. Whether you're maintaining critical infrastructure, supporting field operations, or driving process improvements, you'll bring a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and a collaborative mindset. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and help shape the future of fuel logistics, IOR wants you on the team.
- Trade qualification or hands-on technical experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, or fitting highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills — with a proactive, autonomous work style
- Committed to safety and compliance, with knowledge of Australian Petroleum industry standards preferred
- Forklift, confined space, and working at heights tickets are desirable and will support success in the role
