About the role

We're searching for an experienced Paid Media Specialist with a minimum of 2-3 years agency or in-house paid media experience, and with a focus on Google advertising and Meta advertising, to join our team and bring with them a passionate technical and strategic approach to paid media.

The day-to-day

  • Develop, set-up, manage, analyse and scale paid advertising campaigns and budgets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep spend optimised for sales growth while hitting ROI goals
  • Understand clients' marketing strategy across all platforms, and provide support and expertise to help them maximise their return on ad spend
  • Create scroll stopping creatives that cut through the paid ads noise
  • Conduct in-depth market research and audience targeting
  • Continuously ideate, implement, and measure results of A/B testing for both creatives and campaign targeting to optimise for engagement/conversions
  • Oversee and manage paid media budgets
  • Confidently report and communicate with your clients regularly
  • Participate in innovation and improvement of team systems, as well as lending your expertise to the TDP community as part of our training and mentoring programs

  • You will need minimum 2 years experience in Paid Marketing
  • You'll need experience managing Google ads, as well as Meta ads, TikTok ads and Pinterest ads [Google ads experience is essential]
  • Strong understanding of targeting, building and optimising audiences, segments and exclusion lists.
  • Knowing your way around a bid strategy, keywords and best practice metrics for performance.
  • Strong client relationship skills that include educating clients on results, tactics and growth opportunities.
  • You're a person who has a strong record with enhancing paid media results [if you're anything like us, your entire TikTok FYP is ads optimisation Creators. #lol]
  • Like anything agency-side? You're someone who has an ability to manage multiple projects at once, and you make it all look effortless
  • We all know paid ads is centred around creative strategy, so experience with graphic design software [e.g. Adobe and/or Canva] for creating visually appealing ad creatives is preferred
  • You're a lifelong learner [because you'll be surrounded by them here] with an openness and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly
  • You're a strong team player who thrives in collaboration, who is open to being mentored by some of this industry's best Paid Media Specialists [that's us] … as well as mentoring others as your career - and confidence - progresses
  • Formal qualifications aren't required.  We're thrilled for any Bachelor Degree hold'er'ers applying, but we also think the School Of Life folk fare just as well in Paid Media Specialist roles
  • Bonus points given to folks with experience in EDM strategy [Klaviyo in particular], Shopify, & Google Tag Manager, we'd view this as being beneficial … but not essential
