What's on offer?

Fulton Hogan's Tasmanian team are going through a very exciting period of growth, no more so than the recently awarded Northeast Tasmania Road Maintenance contract on behalf of the Department of State Growth.

Fulton Hogan will deliver a network wide maintenance contract of 1300km of State Roads Network, including a small number of unsealed roads in the North East corner of Tasmania. This will include:

  • Reactive routine maintenance and rapid response including pothole repairs, roadside furniture reinstatement, temporary pavement repairs and drain cleaning.
  • Preventative pavement maintenance programs such as asphalt resurfacing and rehabilitation, and unsealed road and road shoulder grading.
  • Amenity improvement programs including grass mowing, weed spraying, and street and footpath sweeping.

As a result, Fulton Hogan is looking for Patrol Crew Members to be based out of our Mowbray Depot. If you have experience working in the field in any of the below areas, we want to hear from you:

  • Minor Civil Works
  • Patrol
  • Drainage (pits, pipes, and open drains)
  • Grass Mowing/Slashing
  • Traffic Control

How you'll connect to the role?

  • Previous experience in Infrastructure Maintenance beneficial
  • Hold a Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • Hold a MR Licence or greater
  • Hold a Basic Worksite Traffic Management Ticket (desirable)
  • Hold any valid tickets for your relevant area of expertise
  • Be willing to be flexible and adaptable for a multitude of tasks
  • Possess a strong commitment to safety
  • Be available to work overtime as required
  • Be available for call-out work when required (day, night and on weekends)
  • Be a strong team player, reliable and hard-working
