About The Role
We are on the hunt for a Clinical Intake Officer (CIO) to support onboarding of clients by completing discovery calls with our prospective clients. In the call, you will educate prospective clients about speech pathology, telehealth, funding, therapy journeys, and Pop processes. Most of all, you will connect with, support and empower our clients as they begin their speech pathology journey. The information you gather is used for client-therapist matching.
About You
You are a
qualified speech pathologist
with the following qualities:
- Have a true belief in telehealth and a strong understanding of this model of care. Bonus points if you have experience with delivering online services
- Warm, empathetic and passionate and able to connect easily with prospective clients and referrers
- You're an exceptional communicator who can quickly ascertain the clients perspective and requests and ensure they are given bespoke advice.
- Strong case management skills across a broad scope of adult and paediatric speech pathology to quickly understand what the client may need and make holistic recommendations for therapy
- Flexible and adaptable to respond to the individual needs of each client
- Have a strong understanding of funding for speech pathology services, including NDIS, Medicare and Private Health
- Have a strong understanding of the NDIS including applications, renewals, budgets etc
- Be able to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and love following procedure
Your Commitment
- Minimum 15 hrs per week across at least 3 days
- Hours negotiable
- Willingness to onboard as a clinician and take on a client load
- Work in the Hawthorne (Brisbane) office with our support crew with some WFH possible after training period
