About us

Christians Plumbing is a family owned and run business that has been in operation in Emerald for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on supplying a quality product to our large loyal customer base. We work hour weeks and generally only Monday to Friday. The majority of our work is new house construction and new commercial projects, as agents for Taylex waste water treatment plants we often install new or replace septic systems. We do carry out maintenance for our regular customers, this can range from blocked drains all the way to roof leaks / roof work. We have our own excavator, bobcat and tip truck to complement our projects and are willing to offer training for the right person on these machines.

Qualifications & experience

  • Trade qualification or experienced apprentice. Any gas fitting, excavator, bobcat experience and MR truck license would be an advantage.
  • Minimum requirement of current apprentice level (any year) in plumbing.
  • Must have own tools of the trade.
  • White card an advantage.
  • Drivers license an advantage.

Permanent residents only are eligible for this position.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Large range of plumbing tasks including new houses, commercial projects, renovations, installation of septic systems and maintenance. Would be expected to manage jobs unsupervised and work with an apprentice.
