Plumber

Small family run business that is seeking an experienced and Trade Qualified Plumber to join our team working in the mining industry. Role is based in the Blackwater area and is Drive in Drive out only.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to perform work to a high standard with minimal supervision.

  • Trade qualified Plumber. With current Butt Weld and Electrofusion Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Hands on Plumbing experience in the mining industry an advantage, but not necessary must be willing and eager to learn.
  • Must have to qualify for role (or willing to obtain before start date) - Current Coal Board Medical including drug and alcohol test, Standard 11, QBCC Plumbing Occupational Licence.
  • Current C Class drivers licence.
  • Candidate is to be reliable, ability to work effectively in a small team environment, follow instructions, work unsupervised, complete necessary paperwork and take pride in your work and workplace.

This role will be 7 days on 7 days off and is Drive in and Drive Out.

Accomodation, transport to and from site and food supplied whilst on shift.

The role will be for a minimum 3 months,  with potential for permanent employment opportunity for the right applicant.

Flat hourly rate above award wage will be based on experience and qualifications.
