Ramcar Australia and New Zealand (RANZ) operate as Supercharge Batteries, Marshall Power, Enirgi Power Storage and Enirgi Power Recycling Storage under brands Supercharge, Marshall, Exide, Enirgi and Alco and employing 600 staff nationally in the Wholesale division.
About the role
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a reliable and energetic Customer Service Representative to join our QLD team
Based in Yatala on the Gold Coast, you will report to the Area Manager and demonstrate your consistent ability to follow a daily run plan while providing a dependable delivery service for your existing customer base throughout the Gold Coast/Northern NSW regions.
The role will suit someone who is happy to work autonomously with existing customers. Throughout your travels, you will be handling and delivering automotive batteries and associated products, providing reliable and effective customer service and much more with our iconic brands. You will enjoy the freedom of building lasting relationships with customers and looking after your own territory's sales and growth.
The key responsibilities of the role, whilst not limited to, are as follows:
- Directly selling and delivering company products to customers, as well as identifying new business opportunities.
- Ability to follow existing route plan.
- Use of a mobile point of sale system and processing of paperwork with an eye for detail
- Effectively managing your truck stock levels while also following procedures
- Actively participate in the introduction of new products and promotions to the trade, including the effective placement of Point of Sale material.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following key competencies:
- MR Licence (Preferred but not essential)
- Be service driven and able to work unsupervised.
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Previous sales and customer service experience (Preferred)
- Attention to detail with paperwork and inventory control.
- The ability to lift heavy automotive batteries regularly
- Strict Occupational Health & Safety Awareness
- The ability to pro-actively participate in any ideas for improvement across the sales and distribution network
- Be consistent and reliable
