Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

FTP Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager to play a key role in driving our continued growth. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical financial expertise with strategic business insight, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).


What You'll Do

As our FP&A Manager, you will be a strategic partner to this dynamic and global business. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Management Reporting & Business Intelligence: Design and deliver a streamlined management reporting approach and implement a business intelligence (BI) tool to enhance reporting across the organisation in support of driving business performance and sound decision making.
  • Financial Accounting: Support the review of accounting policies to ensure compliance with AASB standards and collaborate with the broader finance team to build simple and robust processes to support this.
  • Strategic Finance Projects: Manage and contribute to high-impact projects (eg. profitability modelling and reviewing transfer pricing).
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business leaders and the broader finance team to develop and manage a rolling forecast model.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the CFO, executive team and broader finance team to deliver high-quality financial presentations and reports for the Board and Executive leadership.

Who You Are

You are a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with a strong track record in a variety of finance and accounting roles. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications: A Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in finance, with a strong combination of financial accounting and business partnering.
  • Growth Mindset: Proven experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, and technology-driven environment (preferred).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to a varied audience.
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across different teams.
