Role Details:

The Department for Child Protection is seeking motivated HR Support Officers to join our HR Operations team in Adelaide. With multiple positions available, this is a great opportunity to build your HR skills while helping deliver timely and accurate support to managers and employees. Working within the HR Administration Team, you will contribute to contract management, onboarding and general HR processes that keep our workforce supported and informed. If you are looking to grow your HR capability in a friendly and purposeful environment, these roles offer genuine development and variety.

In this role, you will

  • Provide clear first line advice on people management policies and HR processes.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate employment contract documentation that meets legislative and policy requirements.
  • Process and monitor onboarding and HR documentation to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Work with Shared Services SA to resolve payroll matters and support timely remuneration.

To be successful

You will bring an interest in HR, a commitment to good customer service and an eagerness to learn. Your ability to provide clear and accurate information will support employees and managers as they navigate day to day HR processes. You will use your developing knowledge of HR systems to problem solve, follow procedures and maintain accurate records.

You will enjoy working in a team environment where collaboration, communication and shared problem solving are important. Your strong attention to detail will help ensure employment documentation is accurate and compliant, and your ability to organise your time will assist you in meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
