Position details:

St Helena's Catholic Primary School is a co-educational primary school catering for over 490 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for a committed and passionate Teacher to positively influence the lives of students and contribute to our school community at St Helena's Catholic Primary School.

Selection Criteria: (if applicable)

Applications are invited from educators who can demonstrate:

  • Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the Religious Education Units for Work and the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Knowledge of the Western Australia Curriculum and the SCSA Judging Standards with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning outcomes.
  • A repertorie of effective teaching strategies that positively impact student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
  • Display excellent classroom management, organisational interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance one's own teaching instruction and the learning culture of the school.
  • Demonstrate the skills to contribute to and promote a strong staff culture and work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and Parish in promoting a nurturing Catholic school community.

Qualifications Required: (if applicable)

* Accreditation to work in a Catholic School (or prepared to work towards)

* Relevant 4 Year Tertiary Qualifications
