About the Role?

The purpose of this position is to transport vehicles around the region to and from Hertz operated facilities and/or customers as directed. You will also assist with grooming the interior and exterior of rental vehicles to a ready-to-rent standard for our valued customers. You will be based at our Cairns Location, and you may be required to work at other QLD stores within reasonable travel distance. Specific focus will be on;

• Transport, deliver and retrieve Hertz vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Detail vehicles to the Hertz standard
• Ensure that vehicles are in a road worthy condition & perform safety checks
• Drive vehicles in a safe manner & adhere to all Hertz policies & procedures
• Ensure interior of vehicles are clean, safe and free of hazards
• Perform duties and meet established deadlines with limited supervision
• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner

About You?

To be successful in this position, our newest team member will have the following:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player
• Great attention to detail
• Flexibility of working hours (7-day shift work including weekends & public holidays may apply)
• Ability to show reliability and autonomy within their work
• A full and current AU driver's licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
