The Role

This role will lead the business through its next phase of development, with a clear mandate to improve profitability, streamline systems, and reshape internal processes. With oversight across finance, marketing, operations (via the Operations Manager), HR, and commercial strategy, you will:

  • Take full ownership of financial performance and business strategy
  • Drive cultural change and performance accountability across the team
  • Implement system improvements, cost controls, and efficiencies
  • Oversee marketing function and branding initiatives
  • Manage HR processes, staff development, and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Director group and external stakeholders
  • Provide monthly financial and operational reporting

About You

You are a commercially astute leader with proven success in driving operational and cultural transformation. With strong financial acumen and a firm leadership style, you excel at identifying inefficiencies, building cohesive teams, and embedding systems that support scalable growth.

You also bring:

  • Senior leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, or agriculture
  • High-level capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Track record in managing resistance to change and leading team realignment
  • Working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and HR processes
  • Experience with marketing oversight and systems implementation
  • Desirable: exposure to NetSuite ERP or similar platforms
