ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

Are you a hunter who thrives on winning new business and driving growth? Hettich Australia is seeking a dynamic Sales Area Manager to take charge of our market presence in Northern Sydney and Western New South Wales.

This is a growth role, not a maintenance role. You'll have full accountability to build your territory by prospecting, converting new accounts, and expanding our market share. At the same time, you'll manage and strengthen existing customer relationships, ensuring we deliver a premium experience across the board. Backed by a supportive, collaborative team, you'll have the tools and autonomy to make a real impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development (Primary Focus):

• Proactively prospect and secure new customers across your territory.

• Generate and convert leads into long-term business partnerships.

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to deliver consistent growth.

• Leverage market insights to identify, pursue, and win high-value opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.

• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that drive loyalty.

Sales and Account Management:

• Manage the sales process end-to-end, from prospecting to closing.

• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

• Developing forecasts alongside the customer so products are available when needed

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the internal team to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

• Provide insights and feedback to support continuous improvement in products and services.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven track record in new business development and exceeding growth targets.

• Prior experience in a B2B sales environment.

• Demonstrated success in Key Account Management.

• Strong prospecting skills with the ability to open doors and close deals.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office Suite.
