Job description

Lark is Tasmania's pioneering single malt whisky and Australia's no1 luxury single malt whisky brand. As the original trailblazer of the Tasmanian whisky movement, we're on a mission to make Tasmania the epicenter of new world whisky, where craft meets provenance, and luxury meets authenticity.

We are on the lookout for a passionate Brand Manager to successfully shape and execute LARK's global brand strategy to drive brand growth, elevate global awareness, and ensure LARK remains synonymous with world-class whisky. Successfully lead the creation of marketing campaigns, brand assets, and key partnerships across LARK whisky, Kurio & Forty Spotted Gin.

This full time role will ideally be based in Sydney, reporting into our Marketing Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Brand Strategy & Growth:
    Support the development and implementation of the global brand strategy to increase commercial growth and brand equity, driving the global ambition for the brands.
  • Creative Communications:
    Collaborate /Lead on the development and execution of creative communication strategies and global campaigns to positively impact consumer attitudes and behaviors at a global level, supporting the business growth targets.
  • Market Activation Leadership
    : Lead the roll out and development of toolkits and assets to support regional teams, distributors, partners, and channels to drive awareness, trial, and advocacy across markets.
  • Campaign Management:
    Lead Australian PR and media campaigns from briefing through to final delivery, collaborating with agencies and internal teams.
  • New Product Development (NPD):
    Support NPD initiatives by working with cross functional teams, contributing to creative development and campaign planning to maintain brand consistency.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations:
    Lead key brand partnerships, including high-profile collaborations such as Art Gallery NSW, to drive awareness and prestige.
  • Brand Custodianship:
    Champion Lark's unique brand storytelling and provenance to ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all marketing channels and consumer touchpoints.
  • Budget management & Reporting
    : Manage brand marketing budgets, monitor category and competitor activity, and deliver monthly reports on brand and campaign performance.

  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills across internal, distributor, and agency teams.
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Passion for whisky, storytelling, and building brands that inspire connection.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 6+ years' brand/marketing experience in premium/luxury consumer goods or spirits: Prior experience in spirits/alcohol beverage firms highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record of building global luxury brands
  • Strong expertise in 360-degree marketing, with hands-on experience in brand activation, trade marketing, and digital.
  • Strong creative and commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into impactful consumer experiences.
