About the role
This role is responsible for implementing board-approved Retirement Strategy initiatives aimed at improving member outcomes, retirement preparedness, and member confidence while supporting fund retention and growth.
Sitting within the Product and Propositions team (part of the Brand and Marketing function), the role supports the scoping, coordination, and delivery of retirement-related initiatives under the direction of the Product Manager, Superannuation and Retirement.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, the position helps to drive change to enhance the retirement experience and outcomes for Cbus members.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop a deep understanding of members' key retirement challenges and insights from the Cbus Retirement Strategy.
- Understand how strategic initiatives within the Retirement Strategy address these member challenges.
- Coordinate internal and external subject matter experts to support discovery, analysis, and delivery of assigned initiatives.
- Contribute subject matter expertise to the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between delivery outputs, stakeholder needs, and initiative objectives.
- Perform delivery-related activities such as analysis, testing, quality assurance, process review, and collateral review.
- Support additional activities required to achieve Retirement Strategy outcomes as new insights and opportunities emerge.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Manage and engage stakeholders collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes of the Retirement Strategy.
What we're looking for
- Experience in superannuation and/or financial services, ideally in product management, project management, marketing or communications
- A self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality member outcomes.
- Proactive, with strong time-management and task prioritisation abilities.
- Understanding of superannuation and its role within the three pillars of Australia's retirement income system
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and communicate complex information accurately and efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
