The Role
Due to an internal move, we are looking for our next Network Operations Leader and play a key role in leading our outbound logistics operations at our Penrith coolroom. Leading a team of 4 direct reports and around 50 indirect reports across the site, to deliver an effective, efficient, and agile Warehouse Operation. This is an exciting opportunity to drive safety, performance, and collaboration across teams while contributing to our strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of approximately 50, fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee service delivery, quality, and cost performance metrics to meet operational targets.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, transport, and logistics teams across NSW/ACT to drive network excellence.
- Identify and implement value-creation opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
About You
- A people-focused leader with a strong commitment to safety and team development.
- Experienced in FMCG warehousing operations and passionate about creating a positive workplace culture.
- Background in safety systems & programs, cold chain compliance metrics and vendor management
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and effective communication across diverse teams.
- Motivated by continuous improvement and aligned with Bega's values of customer focus, collaboration, and investing in the future.
