About the role

We have a permanent full-time position as the Librarian Grade 1 for TAFE NSW, working at Deniliquin campus.

As a Librarian at TAFE NSW, you'll play a crucial role in empowering our diverse student body by providing top-notch information literacy instruction and support, both in-person and online.

You'll be at the forefront of delivering and promoting innovative, customer-focused library services that are key to our students' educational success.

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who is passionate about library and information services.

If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

  • Qualifications: Eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) with an ALIA-accredited library and information science qualification.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of library and information service concepts, principles, and theory.
  • Tech-Savvy: Understanding of library systems, practices, procedures, and current developments, with the ability to support evolving library technologies. Digital Literacy and AI expertise and the ability to support this knowledge and development in others.
  • Adaptable: Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
