About you
Bring your passion for financial accuracy and your keen interest budgets and forecasting, along with your strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, to this role where you will measure the financial performance of the RMP – West contract (Regional Maintenance Provider – West) in the Defence industry. You'll use the knowledge gained from your Accounting Degree and / or your CA/CPA along with your proven work experience in a similar role to ensure the allocation of revenue and expenses is true.
There will be potential career growth opportunities to build on your knowledge and conduct
financial modelling in the future.
It is a requirement of this role that you are eligible to hold a current drivers' licence and NV1 defence clearance.
About the Role
If you decide to take the next step in your career and join us in this role - you will provide validation of revenue and expenditure as well as produce variance analysis and reporting for the team. Working with the team, you'll assist in the accuracy of the RMP – West program and we will rely on your excellent attention to detail in support of this. In a team where you will be exposed to strong training from subject matter experts, we will ensure that you learn the entire budgeting and forecasting process for the RMP – West scope of work. You'll have the chance to successfully advance or begin your purchasing career within the Defence Industry.
Importantly, you'll be involved in the review of all current budgetary initiatives and be key in the accurate allocation of revenue and expenditure to ensure the project is on track.
This role is based at Henderson, WA.
To be considered you will have:
- Current Australian Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one)
- Current AU Drivers Licence
- Experience in a similar financial role within a project team
- Accounting Degree with CA/CPA preferred (or essential – please pick which the role requires)
