About the Role

We are looking for a talented SAP FICO Specialist to join a high-performing ERP Systems team in Canberra.

This role offers the chance to work on business-critical SAP Financial solutions, combining BAU support with the opportunity to contribute to major ERP projects. You'll play a key role in configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP FICO modules, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and integration across financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement, and support
    SAP FICO modules
    across GL, AP, AR, CCA, PCA
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Analyse business requirements and recommend effective SAP solutions
  • Troubleshoot system issues and raise SAP notes/messages as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP with other systems
  • Drive improvements in SAP processes and functionality
  • Support BAU activities and contribute to
    key ERP projects
  • Share knowledge and perform skills transfer with permanent staff

About You

Strong experience in
SAP Financial Accounting & Operations
– design, implementation, deployment, and support

Deep knowledge across
SAP FICO sub-modules
(GL, AP, AR, CCA, PCA)

Strong understanding of
integration between SAP FICO and other modules
Proven ability to identify process improvements and optimise SAP solutions

Excellent analytical, configuration, and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset
