Auracare Service is a dedicated NDIS provider committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives. We provide personalised care and support services designed to enhance wellbeing, independence, and community participation.

Purpose of the Role

The Support Worker plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion by assisting clients in their daily living activities, achieving personal goals, and participating in community life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans and individual goals.
  • Assist participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients with mobility, transportation, and community participation activities.
  • Encourage and facilitate social inclusion, skill development, and personal growth.
  • Administer medication (where authorised and trained) and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Uphold confidentiality, respect, and dignity at all times in accordance with Auracare Service policies and NDIS Code of Conduct.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (preferred).
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities, mental health, or complex support needs (highly regarded).
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care/Community Services) or equivalent. (regarded)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 25 per week
